HOLOFICTION to Be Released in German Cinemas by Drop-Out Cinema
We are happy to announce that Drop-Out Cinema has acquired the German-speaking theatrical distribution rights for HOLOFICTION.
The film will be released in cinemas across Germany, Austria and Switzerland on 5 November 2026.
Founded in 2013, Drop-Out Cinema is a German cooperative film distributor dedicated to independent, artistically ambitious and politically engaged cinema. Working closely with arthouse cinemas, film clubs and cultural institutions, the distributor is committed to bringing exceptional films to audiences that might otherwise remain unseen.
We are very much looking forward to working with the entire Drop-Out Cinema team and to bringing HOLOFICTION to audiences throughout the German-speaking countries.
