HOLOFICTION Nominated for the CLIO Award 2026
We are delighted to announce that HOLOFICTION has been nominated for the CLIO Award 2026, one of Germany's most prestigious awards for films exploring historical subjects.
The award ceremony will take place on 9 October 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Filmmuseum Potsdam as part of moving history – Festival des historischen Films. Endowed with €5,000, the CLIO Award honors outstanding films that engage with history through innovative fictional, documentary, or essayistic approaches while reflecting on the possibilities of audiovisual historical representation.
HOLOFICTION is among six nominated films selected from productions that premiered between June 2025 and May 2026.
The nominated films will be screened at the Filmmuseum Potsdam beginning 25 September 2026, followed by additional screenings at the Zeughauskino Berlin in early 2027.
